Ms. Elena Kuzina is a professional theatre teacher and director. Her current positions include: Art leader of Michael Chekhov Studio (Russia), Visiting Faculty of National Theatre Institute at Eugine O’Neill Theatre Centre (USA), and Faculty of Russian State Institute of Scenic Arts (St. Petersburg, Russia).
Ms. Kuzina graduated from Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute, Moscow, and currently is working on her Ph.D. in St. Petersburg Academy of Theatre Arts. She has directed over thirty theatre productions in Russia, Finland, Germany and USA.
Ms. Kuzina went through a number of rigorous traineeships with such renowned theatre artists as Anatoly Vasiliev, Aleksey Levinsky, Eugene Barba, Rena Miretsky, Thomas Richards, Mario Biagini, Lenard Petit, Joanna Merlin and Patsy Rodenburg.
Elena had published a number of scientific papers about acting methods of V. Meyerhold, J. Grotowski, E. Barba, M. Boutkevitch and M. Chekhov. She was a co-translator of E. Barba’s Theatre Anthropology to Russian. She specialized in studying and teaching variety of acting trainings, which are exploring the game principals of theatre. Ms. Kuzina developed a number of original workshops and taught said workshops for students in Finland, Russia, USA, Canada, Poland and Romania.
In 2016, SUPER SPACE is serving as a vehicle to facilitate Created to Create Project.

Introduce artists from different parts of the world. People who use different mediums and whose practice is at a different skill level. A thing they all have in common is unique sense of style and self-expression.
